cathedral covecathedral covecathedral cove

A huge cave under the cliffs, that you could walk under between two lovely beaches.
Hi all.

sorry its been so long, but we haven't been up to much and the camera has been un used for ages. This doesn't mean that we haven't been having an awesome time, it just means with been doing the following things....... EATING, DRINKING, SLEEPING, GOING TO THE BEACH. Thats what we've done everyday for about 2.5 weeks. Ok some days we went shopping, or walked around somewhere etc, but you get the point. Its been total relaxation, and its been a dream.

We arrived back in auckland today, as we're back here to sell the van, and give our selves time to get ready for OZ, and to spend some more with the family, trudie and connor, as it'l be a long time until we're back in this neck of the woods!!!!!!!! We spent just over 2 weeks making our way slowly back to auckland, via the east coast of the north island, and then revisiting our favourite beach destinations of Mount Monganiu, and the coromandal. We've been blessed with one of the best summers that new zealand have had for many years, so we've had lots of time on the beach, just soaking up the rays, and swimming in the fairly warm sea. Im a complete wimp when it comes to the cold, so the sea must be warm as iv been swimming for 30mins at a time. Those of you who have been to banthem with me will know what im like.

We've been on some lovely coastal walks and seen some beautiful scenery as always. Sorry the photos aren't up to my usual standard, but we've been more worried about laying back on the sand, than rushing around seeing all the sights, and as i said, we revisited some of our fav places, so you would have seen the sights before. We did manage to catch the NZ billabong grom(kids) surfing competition, which was well good, with lots of tiny young surfers aged from 10 to 16, out there going really well. I think the winner got to then compete against the winners from oz, u.s.a etc, to be fully sponsered by billabong etc. It was a good day with lots of give a ways, and stalls etc.

Cathedral cove up by Hahia beach in the coromandal was also very good. Really nice coastal walks with great scenery, and lovely clear blue sea's, as you can see in the photos.

Well im sorry its short, but as i said its been so cool to kick back and do nothing. The good blogs will return as soon as we hit OZ on the 1sy march.

Hope everyones well, take care, love us. xxxxxxxxxxxx
