The end of New Zealand

April 19th 2007 New Zealand the land of activites! So much fun but pretty harsh on the travelfunds.... Glad to be off to South East Asia again soon - nice and cheap! The way we like it 😊

Besides the AMAZING skydiving, we got up to some over crazy activites. Went Zorbing in Rotarua. Whisch is essentially rolling down a big hill in a giant plastic ball! So fun. Slosh around inside with water. I think I need to bring this to SA.

Kaikoura was really pretty and home to giant pods of dusky dolphins. Went swimming with about 500 of them!! So great to interact with the wild ones.

Also got to go to a traditional Maori Hangi and concert. All the food is cooked under the ground on super hot volcanic rocks. Cool experience if not a little overly touristy.

Went to hot water beach in the Corromandel area, crazy beach where you dig at low tide and super heated water comes to the surface. Everyone makes little pools and jacuzzis right on the beach!

So after all the rain and the fines, New Zealand was pretty cool after all!

Take a big inflatable ball, some hot water and a hill - you get the idea
