Edit Blog Post

Well, armed with a new blank hard covered, lined page journal, i am embarking on a new adventure. One as a writer. I have written in the past, and succeeded in completing a number of books, but never made efforts to do much more than revel in my own accomplishment of finishing a 400 page book. Now, i am working on non-fiction. A work of such asstounding simplicity, that i hope it will see fruition.

My goal is to gather stories from other travelers, give them credit and send them a copy of the book in exchange for their story. They can give me a funny story, a sad story, one that put them in an awquard, or life threatening situation.
I have a strong feeling that this will work and work well. At the very least it will give me a chance to hear a 1000 and one stories about peoples lives and experiences.

Just thought i would share, as this morning i am posting the flyers at all of the local hostels.

But also, was reading kellys blog again this morning and am going to find some stuff to send to the schools in africa tomorrow on my lunch break. I am constantly reminded by that adventurer, that there is more to do than just wander around.

Stay safe everyone.

good times!
hi Richard, have been meaning to comment for a while.. i've followed your blog every few days from the start. loved the story about the week camping solo on the beach.. something i could get right into for sure. and beautiful photos from the hike and the river rafting too. you're a brave soul to jump off that bridge, yikes! but it's very good on you, you're looking remarkably well! perhaps bump into you sometime back in the Loops, i shall also be leaving work soon (June 7) to return to school (Horticulture to start... my goal is Medical Herbalism, Ethnobotany or maybe even becoming a Naturopath eventually). anyway i've been (vicariously) enjoying your adventure, thanks for writing about it, and good luck with your book on travel stories! seeya, dana
