Got to hostel, checked in, got food from rough chinese place round the corner, then because it was two peoples birthdays we went to the hostel pub for a few drinks. This was actually a really good night, although it made getting up at 7 this morning to catch the ferry to South Island a little more interesting

Saw a film called Blood Diamond on the way over. Good film.

Decided not to stay a day in Wellington as it's just a big city and I'd rather have an extra day somewhere cool.
