Hi all,
Sorry for the delay since my last entry, been without internet access. Anywho since my last blog we've left Rotorua and travelled down to Wellington via Lake Taupo. Our last night in Rotorua was spent in the Polenesian Spas, wow they were relaxing but God they were smelly!! Rotorua in general is pretty smelly because of all the geo-thermal activity but its amazing to see all the hissing geysers and spitting mud in the parks and in some cases in people's gardens!

We drove from there to Lake Taupo where we spent a few nights (including a night in a free campsite beside the biggest river in NZ....its amazing how they utilise their natural rescources for enegery...it powers a huge per centage of the country's electricity) anyway we did a lot of crazy stuff there including swinging at 160kms across a canyon!

We've just arrived in Wellington now after a long drive split over yest and today and are about to head off to explore the capital. Its Guy Faux Day here today so there should be a bit of a buzz around the town tonight, fireworks and all the rest. From here we'll be catching the ferry to Picton on the South Island which is meant to be a lot more scenic than here, really unspoilt...10 sheep to every person there!...hope we don't kill any in our beast of a car! Will check in again soon (sorry its so short!). PS have loads of great photies to upload but stupid computer won't work so check back soon for some.
