The highlight of every year for me is the Wanganui Aero Club's annual open day. It is part of our annual Vintage Weekend and is a 'must see' event.

This year was the best yet, even if it was too windy for some of the scheduled flights to take place (eg the Harvard didn't make an appearance). But it didn't matter. The DC3 was running flights and the Pitts Special and the Venom put on some amazing displays as usual.

There were plenty of planes to admire and the large crowd were clearly enjoying the sunshine and the fun. Well done to the Aero Club.
