Taupo and the drive to Wellington

TAUPO... it was amazing! The city is built on a dormant volcano, and it's due to erupt!! Apparently it erupts every 2000 years, and it's about that time... The crater of the volcano is a beautiful freshwater lake that we sat around sunbathing beside on the 3rd day we were there. Coming down from the log! (Level 4)

The log - Level 4

This was more sturdy than the bridge, but being a log was hard to stay steady on. Had to keep moving and keep my eyes "on the prize".

Log again, backwards maybe?

Going backwards was so scary. I wasn't yelling any profanities but i did call the owner "insane" a few times and refused to believe him when he said "nobody ever falls". He was lying. Thankfully, I didn't fall.

Trapeze - Level 5

Had to jump from the top of a telephone pole and grab a trapeze! This was very hard. He said 75% of people are able to catch it. about 50% of people my height. i got it!!
