How far?

How far do you have to go across the world to meet someone who lives about 15 miles away from home? In my usual flippant way I cheered a young student on to climb up some of the roots that were hanging down from a tree - Tarzan like you understand. He is working out here and his father is visiting - we had coffee together and found that they live at Ellesmere. How strange is that?
