this is a simple tribute, no need to explain.
raglan is beautiful. we arrived today. we are staying in a hostel on the top of a hill made of rail cars. we have our tents pitched though. the place is called 'solscape' and is tucked just a 10 minute walk from the beach. i walked down tonight to watch the sun go down. the sun was beginning to set on a sufers' heaven. the beach i was sitting on was almost empty but the water was speckled with black dots....wetsuits willingly waiting for the perfect wave. the beach is cupped by green hills on either side extending out for miles. cows grazed on the hill behind me and the rest of the shoreline is absent of houses. today i heard that the waves here are gentle and soft; the best to learn on. raglan is famous for it's left surf break. anyone seen 'endless summer' that's where i am.

goodnight.

another reminder. this red surfboard appeared out of nowhere and disappeared quickly into the waves.
