Hi guys,

Well quite a few eventful days ive had, left fox glacier, had an epic 530 kms ride, landed in Nelson only to meet New Zealands answer to Basil Fawlty, first impressions what an arse, but then in the morning after a collosel ro, i held my hand out and said "My name is Sam, can we start again," left there with a different outlook.

left nelson for the short trip to Picton, heading down the road, in the distance i see blue light flashing, yeap its me they want , for, well 117kmp thats 72mph, big deal yeah it is to them $120.00 fine, for 72 what the xxxx anyway that made it a close call for the ferry, but got there on time (or so i thought), queued for the ferry, (the wrong one) which i was informed of 2 mins before my ferry was due to leave, but again the nz people, relaxwd as they are got me on the ferry, slept the whole journey, arrived in Wellington, it was pissing down so pressed on as far as possible, stopped in paraparauma, (say that pissed i will buy you another pint, set off the morning after at the crack of 10, rode up to startford and turn onto the the forgotten world highway, believe me i wont forget it, beautiful sites and the road was very very demanding, arrived in te kiata wreaked physically, so parked bike up and off for some tea, in the restraunt/bar where the ozzy sheep shearing team, had a blast and got a sheearing top into the bargin,

set of from Te Kiata, the bike oil light came on so nipped in to the local bike shop, well on examination the oil was low but the fronnt tyre was coput and the chain was very slack, so after a mini service and a few dollars light, i set off.

now when i arrived in Auckland the first person i had a chat with was called Les and he invited me to his, so i accepted and here i am, a great guyywith a great family, good food and a few glasses of red i m now ready for bow bow's
