Hi Guys, been along day on the bike heading to Blackburn, on the way i passed a lovely little place with a lovely school, anyway nothing really in blackburn apart from the new tesco and amazing views, im down in Hastings still no rain, but the forecast shows it coming, never mind ive only had one day up to now so its sweet, hope everyone is good, keep the comments coming, Guzzler book me on the golf trip sept, i will see you before then pal. missing you all Ta Ta for now Sam x... read more

Been so busy guys, sometimes its hard to find the time just to sit still, i think i will need a holiday when i get home, again i have been blessed with the sunshine, not a drop of rain, leaving Whitianga this morning had a good stay met some great and no so great people, only the great ones matter, met a geordie chap name of Gordan, top chapping had a great old yarn with him, got a new mate Pete had a really good, all be it loud natter (it was the anzacs rugby game) loud is not the word, but what an atmosphere, like it used to be when england played scotland, why have we lost so much of our national pride?????? its sad. well guys what can i say, New Zealand just keeps producing the goods, from beautiful vistas to grounded down to earth people, Whitianga is nice (very nice) but i dont feel as at home as in Paihia, so thats the place for us, the bike is great as per, the back is knackered so a few days of, bit of kayaking and scuba should sort the back ha ha, it really is paradise, but you have to share paradise, if you see it on your on you might aswell stayed at home and looked at photos Ta Ta for now Sam x... read more

Out of cell phone signal and back to simple living, wow out of this world guys, the water was so clear i could see my feet, reflection of course ha ha, seriously i have been treat so well and had some great oppurtuinities i cannot , and will not grumble, no more VM (if you get it your cleverer than i) came up far north as a guest and had a wonderful welcome and great company, the fishing is just out of this world, the peace and quiet is so spritual and calming, i missed not speaking to my family alot, but i did not miss the cell phone one bit, my trip is getting better, Ta ta for now Sam x... read more

Hi Guys, sorry for the lack of blogs as i have been busy, so here goes, where was i, oh yeah. left paraparaumu heading to Raglan, decided to go through the forgotten highway, i will tell you i will never forget it, the hardest ever ride, but my my was it worth it ooooohhhhhhh yes, pictures will follow, due to this i only made it to Te Kuiti, so tired and hungry i wondered off down the road to the local bar, only to start chatting to the Australian sheep shearing team, great guys, good laugh, plenty of pome jokes, Left Te Kuiti, on the way dropped into the local bike garage, just a check over, well i had managed to knacker the front tyre, so a oil change, new front tyre and the chain tensioned, ... read more

Hi guys, Well quite a few eventful days ive had, left fox glacier, had an epic 530 kms ride, landed in Nelson only to meet New Zealands answer to Basil Fawlty, first impressions what an arse, but then in the morning after a collosel ro, i held my hand out and said "My name is Sam, can we start again," left there with a different outlook. left nelson for the short trip to Picton, heading down the road, in the distance i see blue light flashing, yeap its me they want , for, well 117kmp thats 72mph, big deal yeah it is to them $120.00 fine, for 72 what the xxxx anyway that made it a close call for the ferry, but got there on time (or so i thought), queued for the ferry, (the wrong ... read more

If you get the chance to hop on a bike and ride from Wanaka to Fox glacier, my advice is do it do it do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is stunning, i cant believe how lucky i am, the bike is great, the roads are smooth and the vista are breathtaking, im of to see the glaciers today, but from a different angle, you will see, arrived in Fox glacier yesterday about 4 so it was a good long blast about 350 kms, i was shattered so earlish night and up for brekkie, i was joined, without invitaion i may add, by 2 birds, pretty good figures, but insited on shareing my food, liberites. i will blog later today.
