Cathedral Cove

We walked to the famous Cathedral Cove which must be one of the most photographed places in NZ. The walk itself was very pretty. We stopped at Gemstone Bay on the way, where I snorkelled, but it was quite rough and I only saw one fish! Rob watched, saying he would see what I thought before he went in - he's not as daft as he looks.

Cathedral Cove was everything it promised to be - beautiful - and not too many people. Unfortunately, there were quite a few jellyfish in the sea so we had to be a bit careful. We spent a few hours there, swimming, sunbathing and picnicing, before walking back.
