The Bahia is on the way from Philadelphia to Savannah to load and unload some freight (and me) sail through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific to New Zealand and Australia. It is a medium large ship with 844 refer plugs.

Matthew, my wonderful grandson will take me to the port. To be sure we are there ontime we will go up to Savannah from Ponte Vedra tonight and stay in a motel. That young man must have my genes. He thinks he has reserved a motel where we will be able to see the ship from the motel! Our guess, after watching fleet tracker, is that the ship will arrive about 9 PM tonight. Since ports operate 24/7, I may be boarding in the middle of the night. More on that later, it is time to get clean, close the suitcases, pack an overnight tote and make a last minute trip to the pharmacy. No doctor on board freighters.
