Jours 29-30 – Auckland

On a pris l’avion lundi de Melbourne à Auckland. Décidemment, il y a beaucoup de gens qui voyagent dans ce coin du monde. A chaque vol qu’on a pris, les avions ont été pleins et il y a toujours de longues lignées pour obtenir nos cartes d’embarcation.
Le vol s’est bien passé, encore une fois. Après notre arrivée à Auckland, on est allé souper près de notre hotel. La météo de Melbourne nous a suivi à Auckland - c’était un peu pluvieux, quoiqu’un peu plus chaud qu’à Melbourne. Mais le lendemain, mardi, il faisait beau. On est allé ramasser notre carte routière de la Nouvelle-Zélande. On est ensuite allé se promener un peu le long du port de Auckland. Ensuite, on a quitté la ville pour se rendre à Pakiri, au nord de Auckland. La route vers le nord est très belle, vallonnées et des paysages incroyablement verts et la mer bleue qui n’est jamais très loin.

We flew from Melbourne to Auckland today. The flight went well. We arrived to similar weather in Auckland than we had in Melbourne - overcast and cool; however it was warmer than in Melbourne. When we woke up the next day, it was a beautiful day. We headed down to the harbour. Then we were off to the north of Auckland, to Pakiri. The road north is beautiful, hilly, and incredibly green and the sea is never too far off!
