Arrive in Fiji

Woke up on plane about 2:00 am Fiji time. Crossed international date line enroute, so Monday was totally missed. Landed in Fiji around 5:00 am.
Lines through immigration and customs were long and slow, but no problems getting through. Driver was waiting to take us to Anchorage Beach Resort.
Resort is remote, but very nice. We are staying in a beach bure (bu-ray) that is new, with comfortable lounge chairs and our own Jacuzzi on the deck outside. It has floor to ceiling wooden shutters to the outside and some kind of air conditioning unit. There is a beautiful Infinity pool at the beach area and when you are in it you can’t tell where the pool stops and the ocean begins. Some new bures are under construction and it is interesting to watch their primitive techniques.
Still jet-lagged, so took a small afternoon nap, ate dinner and were in bed at 8:30 pm.
