I'm now in the airport at Fiji on my way to the Cooks. Last 3 nights in Fiji were spent on Beachcomber Island, what an amazing place! Me and Jim practically had the best room on the island and it became quite hot spot! The island itself has an 85 bed dorm so there is us with a beachfront Bure and me a double bed, poor old Jim in the single!! Did te usual things on a tropical island, jet skiis, parasailing, beach volleyball and partied till we puked! yesterday we hired some Kayaks and ended up rowing to the nearest island (Treasure Island) for a beer with a couple of guys. Nice idea, didn't look too far we thought! It was bloody miles away, got the blisters on my hands to prove it, still got a round of applause from some girls for getting back first, quite the rower me, all those days in the gym!!
The parties on the island are brilliant, every night was kinda the same, loads of cocktails and jugs of beer, dancing on tables, me trying my crazy dance moves and scaring people. Just like home but with no shoes on and in the
sand, nott sure if i mentioned it was like 30 degrees too! No lie we weere outnumbered on the island by like 2-1 girls over boys, and I'd say a goodd 60% of them were gorge, 99% of them after for jugs of beer and countless sambuca chasers, even the afro haired female staff looked good after that!
Apart from all this, its been really boring- Ha!!!
