Day 4

Tiff's blog.

Was really good to stop in Broken Hill again last night - it meant

We got away early this a.m, crossing into South Australia late

morning. The girls are keeping journals of their travels ... We

have seen heaps of emus today and Ella saw a "massive" black

snake! (was pleased that I didn't!). On our way through towards

Port Augusta we drove through the Flinders Ranges through Horrick's

Pass - very dramatic steep and winding.

Made camp tonight at Womera although it has started to rain again

and is a tad nippy .... thank goodness for hot water bottles!

Everyone is coping with the long distances really well - playing games

Learning times tables and counting road kill!! Signing off tonight lol tiff x
