Hi there. With a little over a week under our belts we thought it about time to share some of our journey. We have covered nearly 1500km and the kids have travelled really well. Keeping the km / day down makes a big difference. We packed down a very wet camper after our last night in Perth and headed to Jurien Bay. Mum and Peter after recently buying a (very flash) caravan decided to accompany us for our first night. It was lovely to have them to share my birthday with. We were all enterained by mums fabulous jumping on the giant air pillow at the caravan park. After a slightly teary goodbye, we heaed off on our own. The next 2 nights we camped in the bush. First at Murchison River and then Whalebone Bay (Sharks Bay). The boys have loved tearing around on their bikes and digging holes ! Paul unfortunately was struck with a case of the man flu, so we spent the next couple of days in Denham. Saw the beautiful dolphins of Monkey Mia and spent an afternoon kyakking at Little Lagoon. Our next camp was by the beach at Bush Bay just out of Canarvan. We were joined by all the flys in Australia. Once again boys digging holes. Also a spot of unsuccessful fishing. After another fly adorned camp at Lyndon River we headed into Coral Bay. We decides to spend 3 nights and it hs been divine. The water is so warm and clear. The kids are having so much fun and are so exhausted at the end of the day, that we have lovely peaceful nights. Jack has been quite the social butterfly and has made loads of friends. Finn seems to have his bike permanently attached to him (unless he is digging ). Paul has had many converstions with the oldies discussing mileage, rigg set up and fishing tips. As for me I am always thinking about my next swim or the next meal !

Hello
Hi Nicki and Paul and boys that dig! I never got a chance to say goodbye to all of you but we hope you are all having a fabulous time...it sounds like you are! You are welcome to the flies...yuck!A tip from our North West days... If you get a bad hit from sand fly bites try not to scarch them and use tea tree oil on them afterwards it works wonders...a good old dose of polaramine (an antihistamine) helps too! Thaks for the news it is lovely to read it....oh and make me green:) Sending you our love and prayers for happy and safe travels love Dan, Moni and Daniel xxx

Warm weather...
Hi guys, Good to hear you had a good start of your trip. I can just imagine Paul standing there, with a beer in his hands, discussing the "important" things of traveling with some camping mates. I hope you bought some decent shovels for the kids, so the holes will get bigger and bigger. We are in Germany at the moment and are enjoying the "beautiful and warm weather" over here: 10 degrees and rain. No sun in sight. Save travels otti
