helllllllllooooooooooooooo!!!
we finally arrived in sydney at 11.00 in the morning! lauries uncle picked us up and we headed off to explore!! firstly we went to this park type place- more of a bit of grass! the view from here was accross to the opra house and the harbour bridge was to our left! it was really nice! we then went and got some lunch, in this lovely little resturant out in the sun!! (of course we were all sun creamed up!!) we then headed to manly and went round the shops, and over to the beach - DULUXE!! mick took us up to manly hill, oh my golly miss molly!!! the view was amazing!!!!!! the whole of sydney! a breath taking view- got lots of pics!!!!
we then went to find our youth hostal-we thought it was the yha central youth hostal, which had a swimming pool, and was just a short wander from the beach! we were dropped off and went to check in - WRONG!! we were at the wrong place we were actually ment to be in the budget d'lux hotel in kingscross- the red light district of sydney!!! brilliant!! lol!! mick came back and picked us up and we eventually got there. it was actually really nice! had our own on suit, double bed and 3 singles!! in about an hour of being there it was like we had bin there 4 a week!!1 our stuff was everywhere! i dread to think wot we will be like after 6months!! we fell asleep at 6pm, n slept for 16 hours!!! oh gosh!!! still tired in the morning but we had to go out it was a lovely day about 28 degrees!!! we wondered down to darling harbour (about a half hour walk) and went into the aquarium - cost only 27.50 dolars! bargan! it was soooooooooo kool! got sum amazing pics! we saw, penguins, SHARKS, stingrays, huge turtles loadsa fish including nemo, dori, bubbles, flow and gill!! we had such fun. i touched a baby shark! it was so cute! we then walked to the harbour bridge! got lost n walked a stupidly long way, eventuall found it and booked our bus back as we had already walked about 10 miles!!! got some food then headed back to the hostel! guess wot fell asleep again!! about 830!! still jetlagged! we woke up at 130am n couldnt get back to sleep until 630am!!! n had to get up at 830 as we had to pack as had to be out by 10.00!! this morning we booked our trip round fraser island, the whitsundays and cape tribulation!!! how exciting!!!!

hey lucy! i cant belive your actually there its sooo cool! you sound like your having an amzing time and nothings gone too wrong for u :) judging by your amount of exclamation marks its all pretty exciting lol. im so jealous! work was unbelievably quiet without you on sunday :s. just incase you cant remember my email adress from your pissed state on monday its dyerrachel@hotmail.com. make sure u dont give up on writing on this blog thing coz its cool hearing how your getting on! fraser island is apparently amazing my friend went there and loved it. love to you and your friend and look after yourselves! oh yeh and is the drinking age 18 or 21? love you lots, rach xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
