Galahs at the campsite.
There was a festival on in Tom Price when we arrived so we got to look around at the rides and stuff. Drove up Mt Nameless and had a view over Hammersley Open Cut Mine and the town of Tom Price. At the camp there were a lot of Galahs. We fed them and they landed on our arms and head and chair. They were mad!

Got a permit to travel on the mine road which followed the train line to Millstream National Park.

On the mine road we saw lots of mine trains which had 234 trucks of iron ore. Some of these were on their way back to the mine and were empty.

Went to Millstream National Park and camped at Crossing Pool Campground. That night I made some paperbark boats and floated them down the river. In the morning we went on a fairly long walk to the homestead. On the way back we saw a kangaroo with a joey in its pouch. After the kangaroo we saw some big pieces of paperbark. We took that back to the campground and then made some boats out of it and floated them down the river. They

were big, real big.

We went back on the mine road to Karratha.
