Well we started the Gibb River Road on a friday, this is a"Dirt Road" of over 660km in length but we did about 1000km's once going to all the Gorges in between.
We had our trusty Hilux towing our Jayco Hawk pop-top caravan (not an off road van) and not many caravans were seen during this adventure, mainly 4WD camper trailers.
The rutt's are just endless and water crossings galore so it's just slow and steady wins the race!!!! Not many people can say they did "The Gibb" and survived but we can!!!! Woo!! Hoo!! Even bought a sticker saying so.
We spoke with many people along the way and herd many stories, good and bad which was a real eye opener, and alot we bumped into stop after stop and got to catch up for dinner/drinks which was great company!!!

I will try and break up the Gibb to all the stops we had which was just about every Gorge along the Gibb, so enjoy reading about our venture along the Gibb.....
