We're writing from Freo after getting back from the South Coast Journey. It was great! As it bloody well should be 😊
We had a veg out day in Margaret River so we went fishing (caught bloody nothing) and it was rather hilarious when some inexperienced canoeists came past...briefly and then proceeded to progress backwards haha HILARIOUS!
We travelled towards Albany...still f***in raining...went through Walpole particuarly to experience the famous treetop walk where Goody discovered heights may just bother him. We were 40m in the air in unstable ground and he was a big baby! hehe
We spent the last two days in Albany seeing the sights- the gap, the natural bridge, the blow holes, etc. Still raining at this stage...all part of the adventure 😊 The blow holes actually managed to snap Amy's umbrella.
Went through the Stirling Ranges National Park today (similar to Flinders Ranges), fantastic! Saw emus, 2 eagles, lots of other birds and plenty of road kill and also listened to the Adelaide Crows KICK the Demons ASS!
Let me tell you, Freo is dodgy, Port Adelaide kinda dodgy! 1st experience here today was some guy snatching someones bag and being chased
The End
we made it, 2km in the wind and rain, gotta do it i guess because wasn't smart enough to be discreet.
We are staying in a room at the Irish pub tonight. Our room has a bed and thats it-toilet down the hall. Had a few drinks with some coppers tonight...was fun.
Will hit the road tomorrow to head towards Juriren Bay which is just after the Pinnacles.
Check out the photos which will give you a better idea of what we are talking about.
