4 aug 10. at the pub last night the french student-visa barman, when i showed him the 'pilbara echo' article, said 'i have that flag but without the dots'!!!! seems he got it at an op shop in mossie park for five dollars so he could show his dad in france that we're working on a new flag. he said he'd bring it in. it must be ten years old. then a bloke said 'you're back from broome' and gave me $2 for a sticker. he said that hyperlady did a photo shoot with his son and son's cool surfie car for an advertisement taking three hours and only gave the son a pair of boardies 'worth $20'. he felt 'ripped off'. so maybe i'm lucky i haven't heard from her. and then at another pub (sounds like i'm an alky) met owner of skate shop in claremont and told of my determination to press ahead with t-shirts in surf shops. he knows a lot. we're meeting monday so i can get his help.
