Ditched flat in Cottesloe last Friday. Headed for Bunbury. Spruiked for three hours. Gave out 75 stickers. One guy said he couldn't get a sticker since he only had a dollar for lunch. I said how was that. He told me of "Shoestring Restaurant". Go after 12:30 when the crowd left. Went at 12:45. For my dollar got two sandwiches, cup of soup, doughnut and bottle of juice. There was a table stacked with bread which was free. Got four loaves since I was going sailing for a week in Busselton. Also a book from free shelf. Left loaded down. On way to car some woman waved me into Thai restaurant. Four women got stickers. Came out. A woman said it was her lucky day and got three.
Later in the day I was at the Geographe Bay Yacht Club with our crew. There were plates of smoked salmon, pate, fish on skewers, etc. Couldn't help but marvel at the contrast.
Yesterday and today spruiking Busselton.
Night race tonight.
