I decided to take the girls on a drive around the peninsula. Our first stop was Cape Schanck. The main attraction here is a lighthouse. We weren't really interested in visiting it- mainly because of the price. Instead we walked along the boardwalk and down the many steps to Pebble Beach. It was easy going down the steps. We would struggle on the way up.... There wasn't that much to see down there, except many steps to walk back up! Pebble Beach consisted of large, black pebbles. We had a little look around and then made our way back up to the car park.

We continued driving along the coast. The next place I wanted to take them was to London Bridge. London Bridge is a rock formation on the coast at the Portsea back beach.

Next to the car park at London Bridge there was drain and in the drain pipe I saw an echidna trying to hide from us. But unfortunately it was too big to fit into the drain pipe and half of it was sticking out. We had a look at it and walked away. I hope it got out safely! From the car park

we could see the ocean, empty beach and clear skies. We walked down to the beach and towards London Bridge. It looked different than what I remembered. There seems to have been a collapse because it didn't look much like a bridge anymore! Maybe erosion?

By now it was defiantly time to eat. We drove to Sorrento for a window shop and to get some lunch. After concluding that we liked shopping here, we ordered some take away. We took our food down to the beach and ate surrounded by seagulls.

Now it was time for a swim. A few minutes after leaving Sorrento we saw a beach we liked. It was very secluded with a car park capacity of about 10. Along this beach all the residents had their own private beach access and jetty. The water was beautiful- clear and warm. We had a long swim and lay in the sun. It was hard to leave the beach, I loved it there.

Once again we spent the evening drinking, chatting and trying to play board games. Tomorrow Nicola and Dee were flying back to New Zealand. It has been great showing them around and one day I plan

to visit New Zealand and they can show me around!
