Everythings Hunky Dory

Day 63, 13/11/11
Had a lovely lay in today til 11am which I haven't had since I left England. Went to The Queen Victoria Markets on the free tourist tram and bought some bargain fruit and veg. In the evening Stuart wanted a flutter at the Casino so I followed him down where he more than doubled his $25. I left my wallet at the hostel so I wasn't tempted to bet.

Day 64, 14/11/11
Had a job interview today at 12pm. It was another one of those stopping people in the street jobs so I turned it down even though I got offered it. I was keeping my fingers crossed for Hunky Dory's later today.
The cafe trial went very well and I got a free plate of fish and chips and a job came with it. I am just waiting for a start date and I'll be away. The job is basically frying all the fried food, such as the fish and chips and possibly some waiting as well.
Went back to hostel to share the good news and caught the quiz night so I joined in on that and our team did fairly well.
