Healesville Sanctuary

Spent 6 hours in the Healesville Sanctuary. Only cost us each Au$9.50 round trip for the two hour (each way) train and bus fare from downtown Melbourne. Incredibly cheap, compared to many other things here, like food, accommodation and entertainment, which all seem expensive compared to New Zealand. Among all the weird and wonderful animals, bugs, snakes and birds there, we heard an owl bark, learned about throwing a boomerang and saw how small platypus really are.
