Mar 29. Email from Anne Delaney ABC radio Wagga Wagga wanting Friday interview. Early morning Brighton red flowering gum tree, chatter of many musk lorikeets (green, scarlet frons and ear band, bill tipped red) and starlings. Day with daughter. Her birthday!! Hare Krishna lunch. Pompidou 'Moving Image' exhibit Fed Square. Melbourne Uni to check on medical school. Engineering students competition amphibious ping pong ball delivery systems, mouse trap powered. Very amusing. Back in Fed Square acquatic dance routine highlighting FINA championships. Dinner Chinatown. Pinter play 'The Party'.
Mar 30. Went to ABC studio to do interview in better conditions than mobile phone. All seemed good til I was told there had been a problem and it would be Monday. I hadn't sent my phone number so Anne had scheduled another interview. Oops! Met Kate for day of seeing Melbourne. All good.
