Julian, Linda and Shannon

Early morning we left Melbourne (having booked our bags onto the evening train to Sydney) and headed to Geelong about 75km away.

Here we met Julian, (and later in Port Arlington) Linda and Shannon.

It was great for Sarah to see the relations she stayed with for a while last time she was in Oz and it was lovely for me to be able to meet them.

I had a few beers with Julian and Sarah had a good catch-up with Linda. All this was inside as it was about 38 outside - a bit too hot.

We were able to see some photos of Shannon's house being built and then went out to view it, before going back to Geelong and getting on the train to Melbourne.

Julian and Linda - thanks for the hospitality, beers, lunch and good ol' catch-up. And Shannon thanks for the phone!

We left Melbourne on the Sydney train at 7:55pm, with a 10 hour trip ahead!
