Stuck up high on a hillside in amongst trees is where they live. Lucky sods!
Awoke early this morning as Pete needed to go off to work and he dropped me down at the entrance to Cataract Gorge in Launceston, about 2 mins from his house.

The Gorge area is beautiful with plenty of parkland and walks around the impressive gorge system that flows throguh into the river that passes through Launceston City/Town.

Launceston is the second largest city in Tasmania, but even then it only apparently has around 70,000 people spread out through the valleys and surrounding area of the gorge sy kind of get the idea - better yeat check out the pictures.

Launceston itself is a relatively small town set alongside the marina and home to the world famous Boag's brewery. As I'd previously already drank and approved of their beers, a visit and tour including beer tasting at the end was an unmissable opportunity. It was fascinating to see how they brewed the beer, although I reckon dad could teach them a thing or two and after the tour around the factory we settled into the bar to taste 4 of their beers with a selection of specifially chosen crackers and cheeses to help emphasis the individual taste of

each beer. Yummy. I think I will be doing something similar when I get back to the UK. Eating beer with carackers and cheese that is. Not going on a brewery tour, although there are enough around there.
