Maloolaba - the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane

After a few days in Sydney we headed up the coast to Queensland- not only to see my uncle Gwyn but also because it's absoutely beautiful and much quieter than beaches in Sydney- the surf was great. We couldn't get Matthew out of the sea.

After a day at Australia Zoo we headed for one night to Brisbane. We didn't have much time so we walked down to the river for some food. We ended up taking an evening river cruise which was unplanned - but I think this made it even better. We had a really lovely meal and a great night.

Next stop....Port Douglas
