Day 13

So today we were out of the hotel by 6:30 to go on our Whitehaven beach and Hamilton Island tour!
We got on the boat and headed out, on the ocean - very calm was lovely! We had to drop a few people at a few other places on our way to Whitehaven but it was worth the wait! It is truly beautiful and the sand is like talc, so so soft! Apparently this is because it is silica, and Whitehaven beach and the surrounding smaller islands were the crater of a volcano !
We had a nice relaxed time splashing in the sea and lounging on the super soft sand!
At 11 we got back on the boat and headed to Hamilton island - which we thought was quite posh and expensive!
We had our free lunch and took a bus tour round the island, some great views and had a little chuckle at a small island off of the coast called plum pudding!
We were then back on the boat to come back to the main land! I had a little splash in the netted area on the beach then we headed back to the hotel to shower and change before going out for and Indian! - well it is Saturday night!
