The Strand - Tomas Haglund

Day 2 in Townsville - October 25^th

Today we decided to treat ourselves to a little luxury, so we went down to the beach, only forty meters from our motel, but I got robbed! Paying an ice cream 7.99 AUD! The beach, or “the strand”, which it is called was beautiful and despite our earlier incident with the ice cream the day gave us time to relax after this eventful trip, that now unfortunately is coming to an end. And after swimming in 25°C I cannot say that we are longing back to Sweden, where the water probably have frozen by now.



Anyway, we have to go now, the sun has gone down by the horizon and we would like to know what kind of nightlife this town is providing.
