Day 1 in Townsville – October 24^th

Arriving in Townsville – castle hill – the strand motel



After a long exhausting car ride we finally reached Townsville. We checked in to a motel called “The Strand Motel” that gave us roof over our heads for the next three nights and cost us about 510 AUD. Since our arrival was delayed we did not have time to do everything we wanted today, neither did we have strength. Even though John and Jesper questioned my proposal, I successfully dragged them up to castle hill to get a nice view over the city (see picture) and get a perspective of what we were dealing with. - Tomas Haglund
