Well this is the first entry to our travel blog. As you all know we are very excited about our trip, even if the volcano in Iceland threatens us with Buzzkill!
For the past few days we have been waking up with excitement, with lists of things to do running around our heads and wondering where we will end up but we have decided to take a "Cest La Vie " approach, as there isn’t anything we can change anyway.
At this point we a fairly certain we are able to travel to Japan, where we spend 10 nights. Hopefully the ash would have died down and flights resumed long enough for the backlog of passengers to clear before the 4th of May flight to Heathrow. We listen to the news with anxiousness waiting for any good news.
We still have many things to do, but with the date fast approaching our thoughts turn to some of the things we want to do.
Start packing bags tonight, still doesn’t feel like we are going to be so far away, in just a few days...
