This is a sand bar that is exposed at low tide. You can walk to the tip of the sand to fish at the end. Only one problem with that. You have to be careful if the tide is coming in as it fills up the channels closer to the beach and you can be left stranded out on the bar with the crocs.
Hi all, today we decided we would go and try our luck at a well known fishing spot. It is hard to get to and you need a four wheel drive. the last section of road just before the beach was extremely soft and Troopy got stuck. Sand driving needs car wheel pressures at around 15 to 20psi. Mine were at 30 psi and Troopy just stopped. got the tyre pressures reduced down to 20psi and put the Maxx Trax under the back wheels(Maxx Trax are a 1 metre long track that is placed just in front of the tyre to make it easier for the wheel to grab. Got out of the sand easily with those adjustments . And got to the top of the sand dune. Was not a successful fishing expedition as we did not catch one fish. We blamed the wrong tides. We also had lunch under a tree at Mutee Heads although we had forgotten some of the bread at the camp so we improvised and had a great lunch with great company. It was funny that I got stuck and not Xavier. I think he wasn't going to get stuck as my sister was having

See if you can see them fishing. It is a long way out
a go at him about his driving. Went back home in the afternoon and later had dinner at the local fishermans club. The menu was simple, a hamburger, hamburger or hamburger. Loved the simplicity. An interesting evening after the fisher mans club as all the kids had soft drink and were high on sugar. Just tiring trying to keep up with them. we have booked another three nights at Seisa.

Dirty Troopy
Yes Pete, Troopy is as dirty as he has ever been. Red dirt everywhere. I am bringing that dirt back to Melbourne.
