Been on the road since 10.11.2010. We still call Newcastle (NSW) home as that's where most of our family and friends are. In reality home is our Opalite caravan 24ft, and our Ford Ranger (hence the name Lonie Rangers). Our car is the Silver Bullet from the Lone Ranger, put this together with Dave's surname being Lonie, and there our title was created. I'd say we travel at a snails pace, there is no rush, we have the rest of our lives. However, going slow allows us to experience each place and move when we're ready for the next adventure. Dave's gem table doubled as a bird feeder. We had pretty Honey Eaters, Magpies, Currawongs, Pied Butcher Birds, Rufous Whistlers, Lorikeets.

Loved the photos especially the very friendly cow and Lil doing her yoga. Looks like you have been to a lot of the places we went too before heading to Cairns. Did you do any good in the diggings?

Not well enough
I didn't do much digging, far too much hard work on the back and shoulder but Dave got enough to keep him interested. Apart from 12 sapphires, he got quite a few zircons. But there is no need to rush to the bank and change our lifestyle. Not that we'd want too. LOL.
