An amazing, surprising, complex country! Scenery that gives you a look at every landform and landscape that provides constant spectacle. A road system, built to facilitate military movements during the Eisenhower days, that now carries Americans up and down, back and forward, constantly. Our travels over the years have often sought out those places that we haven't yet experienced. We have loved chasing new places, but there is a change underway. We continue to enjoy experiencing other cultures along with their food, beverages, history and ways of life but now, having a little more freedom, we will also make more effort to seek out out such things as music events and festivals, particular natural attractions that we have missed and places where we can better appreciate the history of a place and its people. A great wrap up!
Good to see you blogging again. Your post made me chuckle as you shared your impressions. I always feel sad for travelers who come and only see a couple of the big cities because from our perspective they have missed what our country is all about. Thank you for taking the time to take a good look around and thank you for your friendship. We look forward to a day when our paths will cross again. Great photos.

Great Wrap Up
Glad that you enjoyed the visit and want to come back. Keep checking the concert schedule at Red Rocks, and then let us know when you want to come back. We should have room as we will be empty nesters by the end of August. Dave and MJ will be passing through here in early August. We will be in Sydney from 14-16 October on our way to New Zealand. Our time is cut short because we are spendind 18 days on a cruise from Honolulu, via the South Seas islands. Sorry we won't have time to see you. I plan to do Australia right on a future trip.
