Green tree frog
THis frog was a real poser!!!! He sat for ages to have his pic taken! Hey guys,
We thought a few of you might be getting a bit fed up through the cold dreary winter so we have devised a few balances for you to try and master!!!! Good luck you can do it!!!!
Also included a few pics of Barbara the Cassawary. They are a bit like emus really. There is only 2 who frequent our area as they are very territorial (look at my extensive knowledge of cassawaries!) . There was a cyclone here last year called Cyclone Larry which killed about 10 of them so now part of our job at the mo is to leave food at their feeding station so that they survive. We have to leave it every few days and leave differing amounts so they don't become to reliant on it. The only thing is every now and then they can be very grumpy and have the ability to run 50m/p/h at you!!! There was one case of one traveller going to feed them, when she hadn't returned for an hour the staff found her holding the crate of food at arms length for the cassawary who was feeding out of it. Barbara the cassawary
There are 2 wild cassawaries who frequent the area, this is Barbara and she has a son named Stuart (the rangers name them not us!!!!) let go!!! Normally we just leave it on the ground at the feeding point and scarper!

This looks more dangerous than marauding cassowaries! Rich, remember that a vest will ward off most things in life ... try it on Barbara and Stuart!
