What an amazing last 2 days we have had. We hired a car and despite the rain we headed off to the Daintree. First stop was Mossman Gorge. The rain had stopped and it was pretty hot. This is an incredible place. The beautiful rushing rivers were crisp and clear. It’s a spectacular place, I can’t think of enough superlatives. Very, very seriously jealous of your day or 2 at Cape Trib. Had a very scary experience with a spider at the Discovery Centre, looking all round the web for a spider and then focused in front of my nose and it was about 6 inches dead in front of me. The expletives followed. I agree there is not much in the way of accommodation at Cape Trib. Pain about your door, guess it's just one of those things. Do you think someone had tried to jimmy it open? Have fun, Karen
