Movieworld Magic
Here we are with the Bugs bunnies. Ash has Flat Stanley. On Tuesday the 17th of May we arrived in Carnarvon Gorge National park. We stayed just outside the park at a caravan park called Takarakka . We did a walk the next day half the way down the gorge. There was a river going down the gorge and the track crossed over the river again and again and again. There were little side walks along the way, for example ‘the moss gardens’ which was a little waterfall with lots of moss growing around it. ‘The ampitheatre’ was a big cave. ‘The art gallery’ was an ancient aboriginal art site and ‘Wards canyon’ was a waterfall that you could walk around. In the end we walked 15km.
On Thursday we did another walk to Biloola bluff which goes up onto the 200m cliff tops.
There were two lookouts and we left our bag at the first one and went to the second one. When we came back the currawongs had got into our bag. We found the rubbish bin plastic bag over the fence next to the cliff and they had nibbled on our bag of nuts. I had to climb over and get it.
The next night we drove away and
Flat out
After 15km's of walking I'm very tired. camped on a lake near to the German coal mine. It was very noisy and it looked quite amazing lit up at night.
