Well, I spent the last few days in Cape Tribulation with the Contiki Tour. It was pretty cool. We stayed in a resort in the Daintree Rainforest! It was absolutely beautiful. We went on a few more hikes through the forest and saw lots of different wildlife and trees including a large bird called a Cassowary, which is aparently pretty rare to see! We also swam in some neat freshwater swimming holes smack dab in the middle of the forest which was pretty neat, and very refreshing!! With the humidity it is about 40 degrees here!

In one of the evenings I went on a sunset kayaking trip on the ocean. We had really good luck and the ocean was extremely calm so we got to go even further than they normally do and we saw some really amazing views. We also saw some sea turtles swimming near us and an eagle which was really neat. The sunset and the mountains and rainforest just looked out of some movie. Actually a lot of the scenery is reminding me of the TV show Lost 😊

Yesterday we drove back to Cairns for a few days. I'm going to do another great barrier reef snorkelling trip tomorrow. The people on my tour are really nice! Most are Canadian's which is kind of funny. Yesterday we went to a local pub called the Woolshed where there is no dance floor and everyone dances on the tables! It was pretty funny.
