Lookout
The lookout to where Steve Irwin met his match. I spent the weekend at Cape Tribulation, just north of Cairns. I went with a tour group and yesterday we went for a walk through the rainforest and took a boat across Daintree River. On Daintree River we saw lots of bats and a baby crocodile. Then we spent some time on the beach at Cape Tribulation. The beach is gorgeous but we were advised not to go swimming in the sea because crocodiles live in there! Today we went to Mossman Gorge and I saw a Boyd's Forest Dragon. On the way back to Cairns, we stopped at an ice-cream factory where they grow all of the fruit for the ice-cream in their orchard. We also popped into the town of Port Douglas for a quick wander but we didn't stay long.
