We were travelling with daughter Elise in the beautiful south island. Earlier that day a young steer had run out of a paddock and slipped on the bitumen directly into our hire car. Perfect.

This was the beach house of Greg's childhood. An asbestos-cement paneled cottage right on Palm Beach which at this time was a sleepy, seaside village. The house is long gone, along with the wide sandy beach.
