Our final destination in the car (Diane Von Furstenberg) was Brisbane, and after 2400 miles in total we made it in plenty of time to the airport car rental. It certainly felt very odd being in a big city, where you have to pay attention to the road signs, because there is more than one road! Brisbane has a really nice feel about it, busy but not too busy. We spent the afternoon at SouthBank cultural centre looking around the Museum of Queensland.

Bailey's bit:

I think today will be the one and only time I will be ushered out of a museum because it is closing! Interesting exhibit on Queensland including the spearing of an explorer by an aboriginal!
Our little i20 served us well, hopefully the campervan will do the same if not better.

Daily mileage: 6 Mooloolaba must be an early rising town, I was on the esplanade at 6:50am and it was full of people walking, running, surfing and sun bathing! Managed to do 5*2 minute efforts with 1 min recovery, gradually got quicker on each rep!
