River Boat Cruise

Last night Sabrina and I went on a river boat cruise on the Brisbane river, actually it was more like a “booze cruise” because we didn’t see much of the river because it was raining and we were more worried about getting drinks than anything else, well that and meeting new people of course. We met a lot of Germans and a few Americans, I can’t remember meeting any one from anywhere else. After the cruise we went to an “after party” which just consisted of a bunch of people we met going to a club called “down under.” It took forever to get into the bar and then when we did it was so packed that we left shortly after arriving. We then took a cab home and immediately went to bed. This morning I felt like I was still on the boat and now I have a horrible hang over and promises to myself to never again drink Victoria Bitter or VB as they call it here.

You can't really see them that well but the bats here are HUGE! "as big as a hawk" I heard one student say...which is true
