Hi,
Not that much to say on this really - just a stop off in between Brisbane and Hervey Bay and think the pictures pretty much tell the story. Highlights were feeding the elephants and stroking the koalas (they're really cool) - the main event, the crocodile show, was actually pretty disappointing. The croc was very lazy! Anyway i was relieved to get outta there cos the greyhound arrived an hour and a half late to pick me up and i thought i was gonna be sleeping at the zoo for a while! It pissed it down the entire day - more rain than i think i've ever seen (Queensland's weather really sucks!) but it was still fun and hopefully got some decent photos. I'm now at my hostel in Hervey Bay - Next Backpackers - which is really gd, prob best yet - v.modern and clean with bar and cinema room etc and it's cheap too. Hopefully getting up early to try and sort out how i'm gonna do Fraser Island and maybe Whitsundays though so better be off to bed soon. In a bit. Tim.
