Katherine Gorge

When we arrived to Katherine we went straight to our hotel to leave our things. The hotel we had chosen was called Palm court backpackers, we thought it would be good since it was locate well so we could get to places by foot which means less money spent on gas. We have heard so many interesting stories about the Nitmiluk National Park, or Katherine Gorge as it is also called. There are a lot of options to experience Katherine Gorge, you can hire a canoe and paddle your way along the gorges, you can board a cruise or a speed boat and of course you can go by foot. All though, the three of us thought that a helicopter ride would be really fun, so that is what we decided to go for.
We found a flight that would take approximately 30 minutes and would cost $250 per person, and God was it worth the money! The view was just amazing and I highly recommend you to do this if you ever go to Katherine.
