We've made it to Darwin! We crossed over into our second Australian state (losing 1.5 hours) on Saturday and arrived in Darwin on Sunday. About an hour before Darwin is a place called Adelaide River. There's a roadhouse there which houses (the stuffed remains of) Charlie the buffalo - the buffalo from Crocodile Dundee! Needless to say I psyched him out.

The blog is a bit behind at the moment so I thought I'd try to keep it up-to-date with what I'm doing now and backfill whenever I've got time.

Darwin's quite nice. We're off to the sunset markets tomorrow night which should be good and then on Friday we pick up our third campervan to explore Litchfield, Nitmiluk and Kakadu National Parks. We're in proper croc country now and we've seen quite a few freshwater crocs already - hopefully it'll be a while before we see any saltwater (they're the ones that'll kill you).
