Today we enjoyed our complimentary continental breakfast in the dining room where we again met the English friends who are departing today back to Perth and England.
We went up the road towards the East McDonnell Ranges and visited the Trephina Gorge, Ross River, Corroboree Rock, Jessie and Emily Gaps. These were just as beautiful as the West McDonnell Ranges and everywhere was covered in green grass due to the recent rains. The best views were had from the rim of the Trephina Gorge and then we had to paddle back down the creek in bare feet to return to the carpark. Brrr the water was sooo cold!
The day was beautiful and fine - 23 degrees and no wind.
